Voted in the Tatler Travel Guide as one of the 101 best hotels in the world. “A fairytale, a dream, a secret sensation. To call this ancient abbey a guesthouse is to undermine the other wordly drama of staying here..the creeper-strewn garden is a lovely place to eat, there’s a bright turquoise pool and one of the most gigantic magnolia trees you could imagine.”
Half an hour from the city of Carcassonne the L’Abbaye-Château de Camon hotel has grand furnishings - think Venetian chandeliers, flagstoned floors and elaborate 18th century canvases on the walls. The exterior is no less impressive, with a beautiful garden, outdoor pool and fabulous views over the surrounding countryside. GRAZIA MAGAZINE, UK
